Being locked in here in Italy, temporary changed our perspective about eating habits.
The question now is simple and straight:
What do you eat in Italy?
Carbohydrates on top of everything!
Let’s talk about breakfast: Cornetto and Cappuccino. Can we?

Food4feeding does not ban anything, but for sure has to emphasise how some habits are healthier than others.
Small changes to start. One for all, to replace refined flour products with others made from whole wheat flour, adding less or no sugar in the Cappuccino. The point is to pay attention to the fat content (few saturated, no trans).
And maybe, to replace chocolate in the Cornetto with some protein.
You should know that in South Africa, Cornetto is served with eggs and cheese!
To control blood sugar becomes basic even for non diabetic.
According to your needs, it is recommended to introduce the necessary nutrients.
Sometimes tiny details make the difference!
Below pic. shows how sugar makes the difference in a Cornetto and Cappuccino breakfast.
